My Song

   A song that I have always liked is Changes by 2pac. How Cliche right? You may think so but it's a great song and I feel like that's a song that was true a while back ago and I feel like it still is today. The song is simply talking about life today not only for blacks but for whites, just people in general. There are still people dying everyday because of something that happened a long time ago. Kids are starting to do drugs at a much younger age and the drugs are getting stronger and the doses are getting bigger. With the economy the way it is right now I feel like it's causing people to do whatever it is that they can do to get money to be able to survive. It's sad to even admit to this but it's very true. And like 2pac says "That's just the way it is." The purpose of this song is to inform because he's just speaking the truth of the way life is. To tell people that don't really know what goes on, what's going on. In this song I feel that the 2pac is speaking to whoever is listening, and that he is talking to world. I think that he believes it's something that everyone needs to here. Genre for this song is hip-hop and r&b. His tone is very forward and basically this is how he feels. My stance on this topic is that I completely agree. I think that just because some people don't deal with certain issues they forget that certain problems can exist. Such as just because you aren't poor doesn't mean that there aren't people that are or people that don't have any food to eat or any car to drive to get themselves for one place to another. But that's just how life is. Nobobdy can control that life turns out the way that it does, things change. My medium doesn't call for any particular writing. It was just created to be read.
